About our Field Service Representative
Melanie has joined the BC Milk Marketing Board team and assumes the responsibilities of the Field Service Representative.
Melanie graduated from UBC with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science in 2001. Her experience in the agricultural industry began early in her pre-teen years cleaning stables and grew into horse training, sales, and riding instruction throughout most of the 1990’s. After graduation from UBC, she shifted her focus to equine health where initially she worked as a veterinary assistant and eventually graduated to practice management. The last two years of her career have been spent in veterinary pharmaceutical sales.
Melanie will be available to producers who want more information on quota management, producer statements, milk components, quality bonus requirements and Board policy issues.
We welcome Melanie to the team and expect the Field Service Representative to bring a new level of service to producers.
